God don’t have to start blessings you first before you will start to answer his call rather he will take away the ones you have that may distract you to serve the lord. This is because the lord God is able to help you. He wants you to depend on him. Do not always go to the house of God to receive but try your best to be giving too. Look at King Hezekiah. Giving gives joy to the heart. There are some sins you have committed that can be discounted by your giving too.
